A Note on Plinky
I think this would be cool if it wasn't so damn lame...http://www.plinky.com/. I dunno maybe you'll like it. It's a good idea that could have been a lot better but it seems like they cut some corners when fleshing it out, i.e. it doesn't really challenge you to write anything interesting...I don't care about the last time you went to a state park...again, maybe some people do but it's just not my cup of tea. Do the, 'I'll give you a topic' idea better and we can talk Plinky, until that day I shall shun you.

Scientific American: http://rss.sciam.com/ScientificAmerican-Global - Kinda like Discovery, still good though.
A bunch of newspaper feeds including New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post. Also Time Magazine feed.
Plus tv feeds CNN and ABC (not that ABC, this is the Australian Broadcasting Channel: http://www.abc.net.au/news/syndicate/topstoriesrss.xml).
And of course, my webcomics:
